It is now 11:13 p.m. I spoke to my sister Rita and she thinks that I can do this food blog. She told me that bloggers work every day and they receive emails from people who have questions about food and recipes. She also said I might be able to make money. Right now, I’m reading “Food Blogging for Dummies”. I DO have several things that I would like to work on, such as: inspiration for the food blog: traditions from around the world, books like “Our Own Snug Fireside”, using my blog for topics like original recipes with an underlining theme; Baking and dessert recipes; and restaurant reviews. I also want to document my family’s rich recipe history – I borrowed this phrase from Elise Bauer from Simply Recipes.

More food related topics are: making staple foods from scratch; cooking with only organic ingredients; teaching your family or friends how to cook; and food history.

I know this seems like a lot, but I want to make the most out of my blog.

I was thinking, when it comes to rating restaurant reviews, maybe I can do something like for the heading: Helena’s Southcoast Restaurant Reviews.
