Hello everyone. Yesterday I made a Welsh Batch Scone. Unfortunately it didn’t come out too well. Only half of it was edible – the other half was too wet and under baked. On the other hand, the part of it that was edible tasted very good. It was rich and spicy, and it also had raisins and dates. Here are some photos of the process:

Hello everyone. Yesterday I made Salt Roasted Beets. It was the first time I cooked with beets. I thought it came out good. The beets were sweet from roasting them in the oven and the addition of the olive oil, salt and pepper made everything taste better. I also put feta cheese on top of the beets. Hello everyone. Today I made Cinnamon Bun Bread Pudding. I thought it came out great. It didn’t come out too dry, the crumb topping was sprinkled on evenly on top of the pudding, and the cinnamon in the custard was a nice addition to the recipe. Here are some photos:

Hi everyone. Yesterday I made Cranberry Orange Bread. This was my first time trying this recipe. I thought it came out good – maybe I added a little too much vegetable oil. I also used a digital scale for this recipe, my first time. The orange zest added a nice taste and the cranberries were very flavorful. Here are two pictures of the Cranberry Orange Bread.

Hi everyone. Yesterday I made Basic Chiffon Cake. It tasted good. This was my first time making and eating Chiffon Cake. It looked and tasted moist, zesty, and light. It was also delicious to look at as well as tasting great. This is a picture of the cake.

Hello everyone. Yesterday I made Clams with Spicy Turkey Sausages. I thought it came out great. It was my first time attempting this recipe. I used Andouille sausage in the recipe. I was kind of nervous about the clams opening up, but all of them did. Here is another picture.

Hello everyone. On Wednesday I made Gingerbread Men. I thought these came out delicious. It took a while to make – I had to roll out the dough with a rolling pin, and it took some extra effort, but in the end it came out pretty good.

Hello. I also made Peanut Butter Balls last Tuesday. They also came out good. My sisters and I used to make these when we were growing up. I put in vanilla extract in the peanut butter, I made sure there was enough powdered sugar, and the chocolate glaze wasn’t too thin.

Hello everyone. I made Portuguese Honey Bread last Tuesday. They came out pretty good. It has candied orange peel, dried cherries, and honey. It was supposed to have been six loaves, but I was only able to make four.
