Shrimp and Grits

Hello everyone. Friday I made Shrimp and Grits. It came out great. This was my first attempt at making Shrimp and Grits. The shrimp was cooked in a sauce that had ham, shallots, parsley, and Old Bay Seasoning, and the grits had Havarti and Pecorino and Romano cheese. It tasted delicious without being too heavy or overpowering. And it also wasn’t too spicy. Here are some photos:

Pound Cake

Hello everyone. I made Pound Cake. It came out good. It was a mixture of vanilla and chocolate cake batter swirled together. It wasn’t too heavy or too sweet. Also, it looked visually appealing. And the recipe couldn’t have been any easier. Here are some photos:

Hello everyone. Yesterday I made a cake. It came out good. It is a basic pound cake recipe with a cinnamon sugar filling and topping and it is rich without being too rich or heavy. Also, it had a nice golden color to it. Also, my family loved it. Here are some photos:

Pie

Hello everyone. Yesterday I made Cheesecake Pie. It came out good. I used canned crescent rolls for the top and bottom. And I sprinkled some butter topping on top of the pie. It was sweet without being too sweet, and the filling was creamy and smooth at the same time. Here are some photos:

Hello everyone. Yesterday I made Strawberry Rhubarb Bars. They came out great. This was the first time I tried this recipe. It was sweet without being too sweet, and the crust and topping were just right. Also, the filling tasted good without being too wet or too tart. Here are some photos:

Corn Chowder

Hello everyone. Yesterday I made Corn Chowder. I thought it came out good. This was only my first attempt at making chowder. It took some time to make it, but it ended up tasting delicious. Besides the corn, it also had potatoes, onion, garlic, and a jalapeno pepper in it. I pureed half of the chowder then added that to the rest of the chowder. It was rich and also slightly thick. Pie

Hi everyone. Yesterday I made a Peach and Raspberry Pie. It came out good. It took some time to make, so I was a little worried I wouldn’t be able to do it. The filling was sweet and juicy, with some spices added to it, and the topping was pie dough cutouts using a cookie cutter. Finally, I brushed the top with some egg and sprinkled some sugar on it. It looked and tasted great. Here are some photos:

Cookies

Hi everyone. Yesterday I made Thumbprint Cookies. They came out good. I made the cookie batter, rolled each one, dipped them in egg white, then covered them with sprinkles. A few of them came out a little burnt on the bottom, but the other ones came out okay. It tasted like shortbread, and the vanilla cream was sweet and creamy. Here are some photos:
