Pie

Hi everyone. Yesterday I made a Peach and Raspberry Pie. It came out good. It took some time to make, so I was a little worried I wouldn’t be able to do it. The filling was sweet and juicy, with some spices added to it, and the topping was pie dough cutouts using a cookie cutter. Finally, I brushed the top with some egg and sprinkled some sugar on it. It looked and tasted great. Here are some photos:

Cookies

Hi everyone. Yesterday I made Thumbprint Cookies. They came out good. I made the cookie batter, rolled each one, dipped them in egg white, then covered them with sprinkles. A few of them came out a little burnt on the bottom, but the other ones came out okay. It tasted like shortbread, and the vanilla cream was sweet and creamy. Here are some photos:

Grilled Chicken

Hi everyone. Yesterday I made Grilled Chicken. It came out good. I brushed the chicken with a marinade, then grilled the cutlets with my George Foreman grill, then made the salsa to go with the chicken. It was savory without being too overpowering, and the salsa was a nice addition to go with the chicken. Here is a photo:

Baklava

Hi everyone. Yesterday I made Baklava. It came out great. This was the first time I tried to make Baklava. Instead of using honey I used rose water, and I used pistachios instead of walnuts. It took some time to make this, but it ended up being worth it. It was crisp and sweet at the same time.

Coffee Cake

Hi everyone. Yesterday I made Coffee Cake. It came out good. It was sweet without being too sweet, it had cranberries in it as well as hazelnuts and hazelnut flour, and the top had streusel on it that added to the flavor of the entire Coffee Cake. Here are some photos:
